Overview

The laws occasionally change as to requirements so please contact our office. Please make sure to read the instructions on the passport application.

  • All travelers must have their own passport.
  • Applications can be obtained at the Clerk’s Office or at the U. S. Department of State
  • You will need to bring two 2” by 2” identical regulation passport photos. Photos taken at home are not acceptable.
  • Bring valid picture ID (driver’s license)
  • You will also need a certified copy (with raised seal) of your birth certificate from the county you were born in.
  • Please DO NOT sign the passport application until you are in the office.
  • If getting a passport for a minor, both parents and the child must be present.

Fees effective July 13,2010

Passport Book

Adult (age 16 and over) $135.00
     Bring $25.00 cash for processing fee and a check or money order in
     the amount of $110.00 made out to the U.S. Department of State.

Children/Minors (under 16 years of age) $105.00
     Bring $25.00 cash for processing fee and a check or money order in
     the amount of $80.00 made out to the U.S. Department of State.

Passport Card

See the U.S. Department of State for information about when and where a passport card may be used.

Adult (age 16 and over) $55.00
     Bring $25.00 cash for processing fee and a check or money order in
     the amount of $30.00 made out to the U.S. Department of State.  Adults
     with a fully valid passport book do not have to pay the $25.00 processing fee.

Children/Minors (under 16 years of age) $40.00
     Bring $25.00 cash for processing fee and a check or money order in
     the amount of $15.00 made out to the U.S. Department of State. Children/Minors
     with a fully valid passport book do not have to pay the $25.00 processing fee.

To expedite a passport application:
     There is an additional fee of $60.00, plus a $14.85 overnight service fee, made out to the U.S. Department of State to
     expedite a passport.
