H1N1 Clinics
H1N1 Clinics are now available on Modays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Health Department Clinic on the third floor of the Community Center. These clinics are open to any age. No appointment needed. If you have questions please call (260)668-1000 ext 1500.
The Center for Disease Control and the Indiana State Department of Health recommend that children 9 years old and younger should receive 2 doses of H1N1 either the injectable vaccine or the nasal spray minimum of 1 month apart for the maximum protection of your child.
Immunization Clinic
The Steuben County Health Department is resuming routine children immunization clinics starting January 19th. Walk-in clinic days are Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and scheduled appointments will be available on Wednesday evenings through the month. Please understand these clinics are for routine immunizations only. Adult hours will be Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. TB tests for adults will be offered Mondays and Tuesdays. All H1N1 clinics will be held on Mondays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Health Department. The Steuben County Health Department is dedicated to the purpose of promoting, protecting, and maintaining public Health for all within Steuben County. Through education and regulatory enforcement, the department provides health services devoted to the promotion of a healthy environment.
The staffs of the Steuben County Health Department are dedicated Health specialists, who will endeavor to provide health services to meet public health issues that arise on a daily basis. The department offers a wide range of services such as: Vital Records, Environmental Health, and Public Health Nursing.
