The Steuben County Health Department urges all community members and visitors to Mask Up Hoosiers. This campaign by the State of Indiana and State Department of Health advocates that all citizens and visitors where a mask in an indoor public space or outdoor public space when a distance of six (6) feet cannot be maintained. This is imperative to prevent and slow down the transmission of COVID-19. #MaskUpHoosiers

The Steuben County Health Department reminds all residents and visitors to the community to be respectful of COVID-19 policies and procedures at local establishments and businesses. If questions arise in relations to any policies or procedures at an establishment, please request clarification from management.

Contact tracers from the Indiana State Department of Health are reaching out to individuals to conduct contact tracing investigations for COVID-19. The phone number that will be calling individuals may display as 1-833-670-0067 or “IN Health COVID.” If you see this number displayed, please answer or call back as soon as possible.

Steuben County has a total of 181 COVID-19 positive cases, 114 individuals considered recovered and 3 deaths associated with COVID-19. From the period of July 23- July 24, an increase of thirteen (13) COVID-19 positive cases were documented for Steuben County, Indiana.
