Public Health Nursing
The Public Health Nurse of the Steuben County Health Department provides health promotion and disease prevention for the residents of Steuben County.
Services available:
- Adult & Child vaccines including under the umbrella of VFC, 317 and private insurance;
- COVID Vaccinations;
- TB testing;
- Investigation and follow up of all communicable diseases; some examples are Chickenpox or varicella, Hepatitis A, B or C and Noro Virus;
- Inspections, issuing permits and investigations of tattoo parlors within the county.
Steuben County Immunization Clinic
The clinic is currently accepting all major health insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare along with assisting individuals that are under insured or do not have vaccine / health insurance coverage. Please use the following link to sign up for an account and schedule a vaccine appointment with our nursing staff. Steuben County STI/STD Clinic
The STI/STD Clinic is located on the 3rd floor in of the Steuben County Community Center. This clinic is currently accepting underinsured or no insurance patients at this time. The clinic is accepting appointments and walk-in patients currently. Please call 260-668-1000 X 1580 on Monday and Friday with questions or to make an appointment for STI/STD Clinic. Any other weekday, to schedule an appointment or speak to a staff member, call 260-668-1000 X 1500.
