Income means total income before deductions.
Household means a group of related or non related individuals who are not residents or an institution but who are living as One Economic Unit.
For a Self-Employed Person such as a farmer or a small business owner, the income is deemed to be gross income less business expenses. This figure, as stated in the most recent tax filing, may be used.
